Reflections: Of Greed and Influence

Reflections:

I was born in 1980

Not the actual date

But the time I learned to see the world the way I be

Some call it prospering

I would say it seeded a truth

I am.

To me

Greed is good

Gold is god

And the rues apply to a few

Of which I’m not included

By laws need not apply to me

I am.

What I mean

What I want - whenever

Whatever –

My desire

I call it the prosperous time

A purposeful event

The whole time

It defined a decade of me

The tender years.

Years later I’d wonder

Why couldn't we keep it going

But the they decided

The world ain't about me.
